Joe The Plumber To Advise The GOP ~ Horsedooty

Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans.

When GOP congressional aides gather Tuesday morning for a meeting of the Conservative Working Group, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher – more commonly known as Joe the Plumber — will be their featured guest. This group is an organization of conservative Capitol Hill staffers who meet regularly to chart GOP strategy for the week.

Hahahahahahahahaha snort, burp!

    LOLOL I KNOW….WHAT THE……Are these people ignernt?

  2. chefsheila

    Palin and Joe…..they just won’t die….

  3. Joe will probably be her running mate in 2012!

  4. Cheney warns of new attacks

Former Vice President Dick Cheney warned that there is a “high probability” that terrorists will attempt a catastrophic nuclear or biological attack in coming years, and said he fears the Obama administration’s policies will make it more likely the attempt will succeed.

In an interview Tuesday with Politico, Cheney unyieldingly defended the Bush administration’s support for the Guantanamo Bay prison and coercive interrogation of terrorism suspects.

  5. BevnTempe

Oh to be a fly on the wall in that meeting room with Joe and the GOP. Of course they’re probably know it was a spy fly, and swat it.

  6. Nannymm

if this Joe the plumber nonsense is indicative of what the repugs have sunk to, I say great! They will remain in political exile if he is what they offer. Throw in Palin and life is looking good for Dems.

Regarding Cheney, I wish he’s just crawl back to some undisclosed location and stay there. The man is a paranoid loser.

As for Coleman, he is pathetic. What is it going to take to make him admit he lost? I doubt he’ll give up even if he loses this case. He’s likely to try to take it all the way to the Supreme Court.

  7. dog's eye view

I suspect JoeTP isn’t saying anything they don’t hear daily from their constituents.

Would be interesting to hear what was said and whose staff, precisely, attended.

    Bring on the leaks!

But, doots, point taken. A milestone in bottom-scraping.

  8. chefsheila

CHENEY CAN KISS MY PUBLIC !@#$%……That very least that jerk can do is work with this administration instead of undermining it!

  9. But really sheila how do you feel?

  10. chefsheila

I hate to type cast, but does anyone besides me see a Skin Head in Joe The Plumber? Could be he is infiltrating…

  11. Well we’ve yet to hear how he feels about his party’s new chairman!

  12. chefsheila

Well if he was every man I could see this, but he is probably a 10% of this country

  13. Congressional Republicans have turned to Rush Limbaugh to lead the battle against Obama. One problem: A poll says he’s less popular than Jeremiah Wright.

  14. Nannymm

These repugs must want to remain in the political wilderness. They’re doing everything they can to alienate moderates and indies. 🙂

  15. chefsheila

Amen to that Nanny…. Everything i learned was not the American Way when i was a child….I am seeing in Joe the Plumber, Palin of Alaska…

You know at one time i wanted to move to Alaska? Wouldn’t be prudent now…

  16. Kristol: GOP Should Unite Against Economic Recovery Package Now To Help Defeat Health Care Later»

  17. Nannymm

And Craig is tossing out the idea of Gingrich at HHS? Maybe he should suggest Kristol.

  18. Nannymm

Well…one idea is as absurd as the other.

  19. dnd

Here’s what would happen if Newt headed up HHS: There would be no healthcare and there would be no human services.

  20. dnd

Joe the not-really-a-plumber is the far right’s attempt to reach out to working stiffs by symbolically portraying Republicans as the party of working people and Democrats as the elitists who want to take all the working class’ money. Ditto Palin. Anybody with an IQ greater than their shoe size can see through this.

  21. Nannymm

I agree with both posts, dnd.

  22. dnd

I think (hope) Bill Bradley will be the next head of HHS. Why? Because health care is a passion of his. And he’s a former Senator, which smooths the approval. And most importantly, he’ll always be on Obama’s team when there’s a pick-up game of basketball 😉

  23. dog's eye view

off topic, but FBI just searched the home of someone previously suspected of being involved with the Tylenol cyanide poisonings.

Have always wondered if they might eventually solve that case. From 1982.

Hope they get the guilty party.

  24. chefsheila

Dnd, that brilliant….what are you doing on the sidelines?

  25. Damn, look how happy the president is to be signing the CHIPS bill!

    A proud moment for America!

  26. Health care for all Americans is going to be this presidents legacy.

  27. Nannymm

If that is the only thing he accomplishes, his presidency will be an enormous success.

  28. Nannymm

I have to read this book.

A new book with perhaps the best title of 2009 —Thanks and Have Fun Running the Country ($12, McSweeney’s Books) — arrives in stores this week. Conceived on election night and benefiting a national non-profit, it contains dozens of frank, heartfelt letters to Barack Obama, offering the new president congratulations, praise, reading lists and reams of helpful, bullet-pointed advice. It also offers a moving snapshot of children’s lives in the waning days of 2008.

  29. Nannymm

Foreign leaders’ public friendships with top U.S. officials are back in fashion.

  30. chefsheila

I’ll tell ya, today was a tuff day to listen to the news….so much slamming and its not yet a month in office?

His approval rating is all ready tanking…..This country is in trouble and people are not stepping up to help, they’re sitting too much.

  31. Nannymm

I’m beginning to think Obama needs to make it clear that if the Senate repugs filibuster the stimulous bill, they will regret it. And the Dems need to start an all out media campaign NOW to paint the repugs as the obstructions that they are. People need to know that more jobs will be lost and more homes will be foreclosed on because the repugs are preventing the “Middle Class Rescue and Jobs Creation Program” from being passed. Stop calling it a stimulus package. Let’s frame it in terms that people will understand and support. Let’s call it what it is.

  32. Oh sheila goes to the doom and gloom spot again, stop it! Obama was brilliant today at the CHIPS signing.

  33. here’s a little off topic no brainer piece…for those who remember Legos and NYC fondly.

  34. I think the critic’s time is waning… one want to hear anymore why we “can’t” get a freakin’ bill through our government…..

If the critics have a better idea backed by Economic experts, then put up or shut up.

They look like fools,,,when asked what they think should be done, and they say…we needcredit flowing, and to fix the housing market and reduce unemployment….Well, as they say in the book Babarians at the Gate, ” Thank you for stating the fucking obvious.”

Comments like that arejust ridiculous…..I too am sick of hearing this quibbling fools.

  35. Hear on the radio, that one firm that received bail-out money wants to return it due to the salary cap idea…..Haven’t found an article to match that report.

  36. did they say the check is in the mail?

  37. dnd

    Sra Burrito,
“Hear on the radio, that one firm that received bail-out money wants to return it due to the salary cap idea.”

That may be the biggest benefit of the salary cap idea!

If I were President, I’d have told the execs who are TARP beneficiaries that they would get $1.00 per year. They can afford it. And besides, apparently that’s about all they’re worth 😉

  38. Former Chief of Staff to Obama: Put Your Jacket On

Another Bushy who can’t keep his mouth shut.

  39. Florida: Crist May Run For Senate

Finally he’ll be able to put those wedding photos to good use!

  40. dnd

I hope Obama shows up in the Oval Office in a sweaty tee shirt and sweat pants. Oh and tube socks. And is photographed shooting hoops into the waste basket:

  41. Octuplets, 6 Siblings, and Many Questions

A publicist for their mother, Nadya Suleman, 33, who already has six young children, went on “Good Morning America” on ABC to portray Ms. Suleman as a “wonderful woman” who is “joyful for the miracle of life and the babies” as she weighs book, television, newspaper and movie requests from around the world to tell her story.

Thank god she has a publicist!

  42. Obama could wear anything and he still would be better looking and have more class then anyone in the Bush White House….and well, Michelle is just an absolute doll.

Those old repugs are so bitter…..they can’t see straight….Bet they never though in a million years that they would be kick to the curb by a Junior Senator…….lol……named Barack Hussein Obama.

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – Pranksters in at least three states are messing with electronic road signs meant to warn motorists of possible traffic problems by putting drivers on notice about Nazi zombies and raptors. And highway safety officials aren’t amused.

The latest breach came Tuesday during the morning rush hour near Collinsville, Ill., where hackers changed a sign along southbound Interstate 255 to read, “DAILY LANE CLOSURES DUE TO ZOMBIES.”

Collinsville, IL. Chef Sheila and I were there! We were the only zombies I noticed. Could be wrong.

Story continues: A day earlier in Indiana’s Hamilton County, the electronic message on a board in Carmel’s construction zone warned drivers of “RAPTORS AHEAD — CAUTION.”

  44. Watching Rachael Maddow and the dirt is coming out on Judd Gregg.

Are the Dem’s going to rake him over the coals because of what was done to Daschle?

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

On the Joe the Skinhead Plumber, yeah he does look like a skinhead.

Only thing missing is the Swatisca armband. Shouldn’t we start a project to send all Republicans in the House and Senate one so they can show their true representation of their party?

I think that would be a great idea. How about you?

    God Bless.

  45. Well I see that Dick Heinrich Himmler Cheney is now threatening to commit a terrorist attack on us.

Just like the Nazi’s destroyed the Reichstag and blamed the Jews Cheney was more than likely involved in the twin towers terrorist attack. Now he’s going to commit another act of terrorism against America.

He needs to be named an Enemy Combatant immediately and shipped off to one of those black site prisons for immediate interrogation to find out who else is involved in Cheney’s Terrorist Cell.

    God Bless.

  46. dog's eye view

Hi AP. Good to see you. I was wondering if you might be involved with hacking the Zombies road signs!!

Kidding. Best to you and the kitties.

  47. Kathy

I am surprised that Judd Gregg’s Vietnam deferment has not been reported lately- acne and knee problems, though he went on to be a very successful skier.

  48. Hey Kathy how you feeling these days?

  49. Hi dog…

We need some of those hijackers here to change the signs also.

Warning!!! Warning!!! Republicans Ahead Speed Up.

    Good morning all.

RIP. Hans Beck, inventor of Playmobil toys has died. My nephews loved them. They’ve moved on to Legos and Nintendos (and the oldest is driving, gadzooks), but loved playing pirate with them, and making little islands.

“[Beck] developed the original simple plastic figures — a knight, a construction worker and a Native American — partly as a reaction to the early 1970s oil crisis. … The line has greatly expanded to includes fairies, Egyptologists, knights, vikings, dentists and airport-security staff along with the requisite housing or vehicles. …

One of Beck’s favorite pieces was the pirate ship, introduced in 1978. … Some of Beck’s favorite Playmobil creations presented slices of history that were deemed politically incorrect, such as a group of 19th century Chinese railroad workers that was never sold in stores.”,0,3947216.story

    Interesting guy and life.

  51. chefsheila

    Good morning people,

I you read but one OPED today, it has to be this one by Mark Ginsburg on Cheney and his plans….

Cheney: “Lions, Tigers & Bears…Oh My!”

  52. Nannymm

Good morning! I’m about to read that op-ed now, Sheila.

  53. chefsheila

    Morning Nanny!!!! yes please…

  54. dnd

    Here’s a good op-ed to read:
    The Action Americans Need
    By Barack Obama
    Thursday, February 5, 2009; Page A17

“By now, it’s clear to everyone that we have inherited an economic crisis as deep and dire as any since the days of the Great Depression. Millions of jobs that Americans relied on just a year ago are gone; millions more of the nest eggs families worked so hard to build have vanished. People everywhere are worried about what tomorrow will bring. ”

  55. chefsheila

I was working out yesterday morning and of course who am I working out with? Rich retired ladies.

Yesertday they were taking the Obama administration down about capping the bonus’s and Golden parachutes……Most of what they said was idiocy and not even factual….most of it was drivel.

However, it was interesting to hear the underlying arraogance in their voices. Pure Class DIvision and prejudice

  56. Nannymm

Both op-eds, Ambinder’s and Obama’s were excellent. I’m particularly please to see Obama hitting back. It’s time the repugs and blue dogs either get on board this train or clear the tracks!

  57. chefsheila

YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT.. I laughed until I cried!

  58. chefsheila

Yes me too and dnd, thanks. I am going to post Obama’s OPED in other palces today.

  59. dnd

That Ginsberg piece was great. I think Cheney has lost it. He reminds me of that relative who you always thought was too stern but you respected him for his accomplishments, then at some point something snapped. He’d spend his days peaking through the blinds monitoring the neighborhood activities. And of course he’d yell at kids to get off his lawn. At family gatherings while everyone was having a good time and catching up, he’d grab you and bend your ear on how the country was going to hell in a handbasket. And who exactly to blame.

    That’s Cheney these days.
