Either Hillary really loves the Kibbe Batata in Baghdad, the MRE’s at Camp Victory, or she’s kickin’ ass and taking names.

    I’m guessing the latter 😉

If you close your eyes and listen to the President’s weekly address on cutting government waste, you’d think you were listening to Ronald Reagan.

In contrast, the Republican response by Lamar Alexander praises the French, and says that nuclear power is the answer. He says that nuclear, one of the most heavily subsidized forms of power generation is clean and green. It’s not. That 100 more nuclear power plants would make a huge difference. Wrong again. And in these days when we live in fear that terrorists will get their hands on nuclear waste, is this such a good idea?

Good evening all. Was a beautiful day in Virginia; our first really hot one.

Sorry to hear about Bea Arthur. She was a wonderful actress.

AnonP: no idea if this is of interest to you, but LATimes readers found this expose on “Area 51” — USAF testing site in Nevada — quite interesting.

“Area 51. It’s the most famous military institution in the world that doesn’t officially exist. If it did, it would be found about 100 miles outside Las Vegas in Nevada’s high desert, tucked between an Air Force base and an abandoned nuclear testing ground. Then again, maybe not— the U.S. government refuses to say. You can’t drive anywhere close to it, and until recently, the airspace overhead was restricted—all the way to outer space. Any mention of Area 51 gets redacted from official documents, even those that have been declassified for decades. …”

Good to see these retired test pilots and personnel getting a moment in the sun. 40 years after their project ended.

  6. Hi dog…

Montel Williams did a show once many years ago on Area 51 and promised to do a follow up on it.

The guest he had on was telling how him and some others where chased off a hillside one night outside the areas fence line.

Montel said he would go out there with them and do another story on it but he never did.

Maybe there’s some truth in the stories I heard growing up about aliens being there that were captured from downed space ships. Who really knows what goes on there since it is so top secret.

Anyway time to check some other sites out. Will try to check back later.

If anyone is interested is seeing Sean waterboarded please check out the two links from my comment above.

    Take care and …

    God Bless.

  7. Evening peeps, hope all are having a good weekend.
