On the lighter side, AshleyMadison.com ~ BrianInNYC

In light of Senator Ensign’s revelation that he cheated on his wife with  one of his campaign advisers I thought it would be fun to discuss one of my favorite new online dating services.    So tell me,  do you think there is a time when it’s acceptable for a person to cheat on their spouse?   Now don’t jump to the obvious answer, “Of course not, no never”.    Think about it for a moment, for instance, I can’t  fault Michael Schiavo for having made a new life for himself long before his wife Terri died.  Ok, discuss.

All relationships are founded on trust. Cheating violates that trust. That’s all there is to say.

In the case of Ensign, there’s also the hypocrisy:

    Interesting subject and question.

According to the Bible according to Ecclesiastes 3, “There is a time for everything.” Whether or not a person believes in the Bible, may have an affect on the decision. Even if a person believes, it may not make a difference.

It’s a very personal, individual decision whether to “cheat on a spouse.” There can be extenuating circumstances, such as the Schiavo case, or a person may just plain cheat. Whatever a person decides, s/he will have to deal with the consequences of that decision, especially if they get caught.

As for myself, I choose not to cheat. I think looking and thinking is just fine!

“LOS ANGELES – New images suggest Mars had a sizable lake on its surface billions of years ago, further evidence that the planet had a watery past.”

If you look closely at the image, you’ll see little green men water skiing on the lake 😉
