President Obama – Now is the time ~ Anon Paranoid

President Obama, now is the time to fulfill your promise to those who worked for you, supported you and voted for you.

Time after time you have compromised your position on every issue that was brought before the Congress.

From the bailout of Wall Street, to the Iraq War and the prosecution of War Crimes by those in the previous administration, you have given in to the Republican Fascist, Racist, Bigoted Nazi Party
.
You have reached out your hand to them in friendship and bipartisanship only to be spit on time and time again. And they have done everything in their power to incite their base to Assassinate you. They want you dead and out of the White House. Are you that blind that you can’t see this?

Now once again your willing to compromise on what will be your most important issue before the American people, Health Care Insurance Reform.
Right off the bat you took Universal Health Care off the table and now it appears that your also going to take the Public Option off as well. Rumors have it that your going to kick the can down the road using a trigger that won’t kick in for at least five years. This is unacceptable to those of us who say now is the time, not later.

Health care reform is vital to the overall recovery of our economy and is tied to everything involved with it. From our troops returning with both physical and mental issues from two wars that receive treatment from the VA, to the elderly on Medicare and Medicaid, as well as those who are losing not only their jobs and insurance, but their homes also. And not to forget all those who have no health insurance at all and need it desperately you are turning your backs on them.

We elected you to the White House. We gave you a working majority in both the House and Senate. We the people expect you to stop giving away the store to the very same people who have been raping, pillaging and plundering our country for the past eight years. If you are unwilling or unable to lead and fulfill your promise on Health Care than you and the Democratic Party are not fit to be in power.

No public option will mean that you are a weak President along with a weak Democratic Party. A party that has a working majority in both houses of congress that will not be able too repair all or any of the damage done by the last administration and are not fit to serve the American People.

So we implore you to stand up and fight for what is right and what you campaigned on to the American People. If there is no public option that takes effect immediately upon your signing of the Health Care Reform Bill sent to you by both houses, then don’t expect us to be at the polls on election day in 2010 or 2012. We will stay home and let the Republican Fascist, Racist, Bigoted Nazi Party regain control and complete its total destruction of our country.
When will you except the fact that you can not Compromise with Terrorist? They Will Kill You.

And it will prove what the GOP says about Democrats. Democrats are weak on Terrorists and Terrorism.

Don’t prove them right. Fight for Americans and don’t compromise with those who wish you harm. Be our President and fight for us.

God Bless you and God Bless America.

  1. AP I think we have a pretty good idea of the tone the president will be taking.

  2. Brian…

I certainly hope your right. He has given in to them too many times as far as I’m concerned.

I left him a message a long time ago about how disappointed I was with him not willing to go after War Criminals for the War Crimes they committed. Now I have to wonder if I was wrong to believe that he could return us our Constitution, Honor and Integrity.

I would really like to be proud of my country again, I really would.

    God Bless.

AP – wonderful post – written from the heart. Your words express so many of our thoughts in a way that makes the situation of today easy to understand. My husband began with 100% faith in O when he first took office. He, too, has begun to waver.

I hope you will check in here every now and then and continue to give us the pleasure of reading your words. Thanks.

Bravo, Anon-P!! You said what many of us have been feeling. It’s time for Obama to stand up and fight for the things he was elected to accomplish. If he doesn’t, he may be in for a huge surprise come 2012.

“We will stay home and let the Republican Fascist, Racist, Bigoted Nazi Party regain control and complete its total destruction of our country. ”

Um, isn’t this cutting off your nose to spite your face?

Let’s just say that President Obama stands up and fights for the public option, and he loses. Then some may be happy that he fought, but we’re still screwed. And if Obama loses, the right will claim that it’s his Waterloo, they were successful in stopping his effort, and they will redouble their efforts to make the Democrats fail so they can take over in 2010 and 2012.

  6. nannymm

Wrong, dnd. If he fights HARD and can’t get it, then he will have our support to compromise. But you don’t give it all away before the fight. We’ve already given away enough. Our side took Universal Single-Payer off the table long ago. Now, it is time to fight for the crumbs that are left. If Obama can’t do that, he doesn’t deserve our support. We did NOT elect him to tinker around the edges and give in to repugs and blue dogs.

Wrong nannymm. If he fights hard and loses, it’s over. Capisce? It’s over for health insurance reform, and most likely every other thing on his agenda.

Note 1. universal single-payer was never on the table, so it couldn’t have been taken off. Obama didn’t give that up.

Note 2. universal and single-payer are two different concepts. You can have universal coverage and no single payer (e.g., Switzerland) and you can have single-payer w/o universal coverage (e. g. Tricare).

Fighting health care reform on idealogical grounds, no matter how justified, ain’t gonna get it done today. And we’ll all still be screwed.

  9. I saw that commercial this morning on Morning Joe, it’s a disgrace.

  10. nannymm

Duh! I know what the terms mean, dnd. Healthcare is my field and I sure as shit don’t need you to explain the terminology to me. Capisce?

  11. Alright, I want you Italians to play nice!

  12. Vickie Kennedy will be joining the first lady tonight at the joint session.

  13. Great line about health care being our deficit issue.

  14. Hey gang…

Did you see that low life piece of scum from South Carolina Joe Wilson call President Obama a liar during the Presidents address?

Everyone should write or call Speaker Pelosi and demand that he be censured or impeached for his disrespectful remark.

They should also phone his Congressional Office and his States Offices to complain and demand his resignation.

There’s no place for that kind of behavior in a joint and public Presidential address on National Television.

Just shows what a bunch or Fascist, Racist, Bigoted Nazi’s the Republicans are.

I hope the Democrats unite now behind President Obama and jam everything through both houses of congress.

Screw the Republicans, all they have been doing since President Obama took office is try to incite their base to assassinate him.

Fuck them all, maybe its time to drag them out of their offices and lynch them.

Sorry, I’m just so pissed off over this and maybe President Obama needs to label Joe Wilson an Enemy Combatant and ship him off to Gitmo for some enhanced interrogation that Bush\Cheney approved.

After all it isn’t torture according to them.

    God Bless.

  15. WILSON APOLOGIZES: The South Carolina Republican who interrupted the president’s speech with a shout of “Lie!”, issued the following statement apologizing —

“This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the President’s statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”
