  3. BREAKING: Senate GOP Folding Over Health Care Reform

    I am told quite reliably that in a meeting today on Capitol Hill, Republican Senators began to rapidly move toward concessions on health care because they are afraid they cannot hold their members. Some Republicans are now thinking of supporting a government program.

    Reading the online news websites indicates that the repugs may actually be waking up and realizing that things will change no matter how many times they say no.

    Loveland Basin Ski Area opens today. The earliest in 40 years. Note that 40 years ago they didn’t have snow making machines.

    Arapahoe Basin opens Friday.

    Loveland Basin is on the the east side of Loveland Pass, Arapahoe Basin on the west side.

    Denver may get it’s first snow tomorrow, after highs around 70 today. Good chance it may snow when the Phillies come to Denver Saturday for post season play.
