Cheney Family Reality Show?

This week Dick Cheney told the Center For Security Policy that President Obama was “dithering” on sending more troops into Afghanistan.  Notwithstanding that the administration he was a part of dithered on Gen. David McKiernan’s request to send more troops to Afghanistan( i.e., they didn’t).  His daughter Liz is a mouthpiece to defend and promote her father’s agenda.  His other daughter Mary is a lesbian who fails to question her father’s anti-gay agenda.  His wife Lynne says her husband is unjustly persecuted.

This all had me puzzled until I saw the local news tonight (Friday), where Mayumi Heene, balloon boy’s mother, admitted it was all a hoax designed to make them more marketable for a reality show.  That’s when the light bulb went off over my head.  The reason the Cheney family is acting so bizarrely is that they want their own reality show!

  1. Sounds like something for the Fox Business Network, they could sandwich it between Imus and Lou Dobbs!

Obama Declares H1N1 Flu a National Emergency

President Obama has declared the swine flu outbreak a
    national emergency.

The White House on Saturday said that Mr. Obama had signed a
proclamation that would allow medical officials to bypass
certain federal requirements. Officials described the move as
similar to a declaration ahead of a hurricane making
    landfall.

    Morning all.

Laura Ingraham on This Week. Joe Scarborough and Tavis Smiley on MTP. I miss the days when the Sunday shows had political observers instead of these partisan talkers. Must be trying to capture the talk radio audience.
