Poll: Majority Of Republicans Don’t Think Obama Won 2008 Election

When Doug Hoffman blamed ACORN for his loss in the NY-23 special House election, he was apparently channeling the GOP base. A new Public Policy Polling survey found that a majority of Republican voters think that ACORN stole the presidential election for Barack Obama last year

Maybe they can’t add. Maybe they just can’t accept the fact they lost. Maybe they’re just dumb.

  3. TempeBev

Just watched the video on the Daily Show site and didn’t hear the words “arrogant” and “wrong” from J. S.

  4. Wow Craig Crawford made it through an entire TV appearance without plugging his book, I’m impressed!

Bev did you watch all 3 vids?

  5. TempeBev

Yup – I’ll watch again when I have time.

    Happy birthday Vice President Biden!

Re: today’s thread, so 26% of Americans are gullible, frightened and unwilling to think critically because it’s too hard. I’m grateful it’s not more than that…

Helen of Margaret and Helen pens a Thanksgiving message. Way worth a read. Modern manners.

  9. Olbermann’s guest Craig Crawford, columnist and political analyst for CQPolitics, then said: “I would like to see politicians where they talk about something like this to show a little balance, that they try to get information [from] both sides. We’ve got so many people just reading what they want to hear. And in this case, Newsmax.”

But Crawford then added — no doubt surprising Olbermann — “I actually read Newsmax. I read Talking Points Memo, Huffington. I mean, I like to get a wide range.”

I whole new following for Craig, LOL

What an odd thing to hear from the author of the TrailMix blog…

    Dog,
Great catch on Helen & Margaret’s Thanksgiving message. Thanks.

Brian – re-watched the Stewart video – did hear the words “Abhorrent” and “Wrong.”

  13. Sen. Wyden wins big healthcare concession

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) have taken a long stride toward locking down the support of Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).

I saw Oprah’s retirement announcement on the local news today. Ok, she won’t stop her show for two years, but that gives her fans, sponsors and affiliates time to adjust to the transition. I must confess to never have seen her show, and know nothing about her other than she gives positive inspiration to her fans. When I saw her on the local news today, the only thing I could think of was the Spinal Tap classic:

    Forgive me.

I knew what that youtube was gonna be, without even clicking on it.

Talk about mudflaps my gal’s got ’em….

Newsmax, he says? Lot of time on someone’s hands. Why stop there? Red State, No Quarter, all kinds of quality material out there.

Bye-bye McCain, but Hayworth? He’s also a repug just as bad but younger. Used to be a local weather guy before he lost his house seat to Harry Mitchell. He’s on conservative talk radio in Phx. Ugh – what a choice. Come on, Democrats find someone to beat both McC and Hay.

  18. TempeBev

PS: after watching R. Maddow’s report on McC/Hayworth, I would take McCain over Hayworth – he’s like time bomb waiting for the clock to tick down to zero. I really don’t want either one.

  19. Bev are you originally from Az or did you retire there?
