Not much can beat the hat at this moment – I’ll keep thinking.

  2. That hat was loved by the entire world! It was exceptional and certainly appropriate for the occasion.

One of my favorite tv moments (non-political) Jim and Pam’s wedding on The Office….so cute.

I’m thinking my current favorite TV moment is watching Sen. Jim DeMint using the underwear bomber to justify his holding up the administration’s TSA nominee for to the top job. His claim the nominee want’s the TSA to unionize (false) and that collective bargaining will prevent the TSA being flexible, even when confronted with the fact that the 9/11 responders, the cops that shot the Ft. Hood shooter and Capt. “Sully” Sullenberger all belong to a union, is priceless.

My favorite TV moment of 2009 was the baby dancing to Beyonce.

Ok, it’s not really a TV moment, but it’s appropriate for ringing in the new year.

I will have to re-think my contributions to the Salvation Army after reading this. Hopefully, this Scrooge type behavior is limited and doesn’t occur here in my area. Otherwise, I will need to find a new charity to give to next Christmas.

“Santa: No Social Security Number, No Toys”

In this day of identity theft, handing over your SSN for a few toys is probably not a good idea.

I find it odd that a Christian organization like the Salvation Army would deny needy kids. Where’s the Biblical reference for that?

  4. I stopped giving to the Salvation Army years ago due to their homophobic hiring policy.

More insanity and over-reaction in NYC today. We are such a bunch of wusses!

Can anyone tell me what exactly makes a package “suspicious looking?” Maybe an al Qaeda return address label? Or bin laden stickers?

Well what do you know? It’s another false alarm. I wonder how much this latest “scare the crap out of people” moment cost us?

    Change I can believe in:

President Obama declared on Tuesday that “no information may remain classified indefinitely” as part of a sweeping overhaul of the executive branch’s system for protecting classified national security information.

No wonder Cheney’s so nervous. It’d be a shame if he got charged with war crimes…

  9. Radanovich to retire

Rep. George Radanovich (R-Calif.) is set to announce Tuesday that he will not seek reelection, according to House Republican aides.

Karl Rove, who touted marriage and is against gay marriage, was granted a divorce in TX.

We stopped contributing to the Boy Scouts because of their homophobic membership rules. The Girl Scouts are OK so far as I know.

  12. Evening peeps, hey nanny hows the dog doing?
