  1. Rudy Giuliani: ‘We Had No Domestic Attacks Under Bush; We’ve Had One Under Obama’

The upside to this that anybody with half a brain now knows the serial adulterer and the guy who put Bernark Kerick (felon) in charge of NYPD, cannot be trusted in anything he says. I’m surprised Mr. “9/11” gets any airtime at all, and any credible journalist will now have the opportunity to ask him about this statement and watch him try to weasel his way out of it.

Giuliani on CNN’s Situation Room: he “mis-spoke” on omitting 9/11. Blitzer didn’t ask him about the reference that the shoe bomber happened before 9/11. Hedged on the anthrax attack. He then went on about how the underwear bomber should be interrogated and detained as an enemy combatant.

Here’s a thought for those who think we should detain enemy combatants in the war on terror. When the war is over, we’ll have to let the underwear bomber go. If he’s tried in a criminal court and convicted, he’ll spend the the rest of his days in the slammer. Which would make you feel safer?

How the hell do these damned repugs say this crap with a straight face???

  3. Nanny I think the real issue is why didn’t Stephanopoulos call him on it. Disgraceful journalism on his part, down right appalling.

  4. No matter what Tweety’s faults and god knows there are many at least he calls people on their bullshit.

That’s true, Brian. Stephanopoulos clearly blew it on this. But don’t people have some obligation to tell the truth? I can understand the honest mistake; I can understand when someone “mis-speaks.” But this blatant and constant lying is unconscionable. These guys should be ashamed. Instead, they’re proud of their ability to twist facts and truth and deceive the ignorant public.

  6. As you say nanny this lying is constant, there is no excuse for members of the press letting this shit slide. It’s not their job to provide the soap box, their job is to get the truth. This is not the first time Stephanopoulos has let people get away with shit like this, he has no business calling himself a journalist.

“This is not the first time Stephanopoulos has let people get away with shit like this, he has no business calling himself a journalist.”

Perhaps that’s why he’s now doing fluff pieces and cooking segments on GMA and Diane Sawyer replaced Charlie Gibson.

Bet this ends up in Ed’s psych-talk segment:

GOP Rep Launches Terror News YouTube Series, Warns Of Muslim Brotherhood Plot

Fed up with the mainstream media filter, Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) is taking her quest to inform Americans about the threat of jihad to the Internet — namely, YouTube — in a new weekly terror news video series that will be featured on her congressional Web site.

The first two episodes — “Beyond Terrorism -The Whole Story” and “Fort Hood – What You’re Not Hearing” — are presented in a news magazine format, with Myrick speaking in front of a grey screen, flanked by an American flag

Healthcare overhaul could save money and boost jobs, researchers say
In a report to be released today, Harvard and USC economists say legislation being considered would slow cost increases and free up money for companies to raise wages and hire more workers.
National healthcare legislation in Congress could slow the growth of medical costs, allowing employers to create 250,000 to 400,000 new jobs a year over the next decade, economists from Harvard University and USC are predicting.

I agree with you all about Stephanopoulos. And the rest of the so-called journalists that don’t call out the liars and BSers they interview are no better. Maybe if journalists actually forced the truth out of these bozos or called them liars to their faces, they’d stop the lying and BS. David Schuster is good at this; he has no problem calling them out.

It’s hard to believe they still don’t get it there are video clips of things that were said in the previous administration that show how hypocritical they are now. It just doesn’t faze them – they are the Party of hypocrites and nay-sayers.

Who would have thought about the bears and dogs? Social animals.

I guess the bears must be very well fed. They did not look scrawny.

  13. dooty

I hear that polar bears play with their food before they chow down. Possibly why they are having such a good time.

Bill Clinton to address healthcare at House Democrats retreat

Clinton is likely to give the keynote speech on healthcare on Friday, the retreat’s final day, and may take on a more prominent role in discussing the issue at the retreat than even President Barack Obama, according to House leadership aides involved in the planning.

  20. The Tea Party Express is pleased to announce our endorsement of Republican Scott Brown for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. This will be a critical race, a Special Election that takes place on January 19th, and one that will stop the Democrats from passing through their government-run healthcare monstrosity – if we can win!

That should go over well in Mass.!

  21. Wow, Mel Gibson has a new movie out, something to do with my friends from B’nai B’rith

  22. nannymm

I can’t watch his movies. Way too violent.
