Two things to remember today, the death of John Lennon, and for those who aren’t practicing Catholics anymore, the Immaculate Conception.
I belong to both groups. I identify with John’s passing and all he gave us. He left too soon.
A day I remember all too well, basically spent the next three days milling around the Dakota and in the park.
It’s one of those days we all remember where we were when we heard the news. I was in the very noisy student union at CU. When the news came out a hush fell over the crowd. A very sad time.

Local ABC station here is reporting Aretha has pancreatic cancer, really sucks.
