Rick Santorum in Puerto Rico

Campaigning in Puerto Rico, Rick Santorum said that a condition for Puerto Rico to become the 51st state was that English must become their “official” language.  This revealed three things about Rick:

1. He doesn’t know that all students in Puerto Rico are taught English.

2. He doesn’t know the Constitution.  There is no language requirement for statehood.

3. He ain’t gonna win the Republican primary in Puerto Rico

Yeah Brian, I’m not sure what this says about today’s Republican Party that they embrace a nut-bag like Santorum.

Still playing with WordPress. This is just a test to see if I can post.

  4. What issues you having with word press Bev? Are you using some sort of reader other than your web browser to access the blog?

Brian, I used to be able to just press “post comment.” Then it went all strange and now I have to press the WP icon above my name, sign in to WP and then come back and press “post.” I never know if it’s going to post or not. No other reader. I have BC bookmarked on Safari and go thru them. Haven’t tried Firefox. Hope this posts.

Today is National Ravioli Day! I didn’t hear the Republican candidates mentioning anything about THAT in the Illinois primary…

  6. Ah, back in. Somehow locked myself out of WordPress.

I am so sad about Trayvon Martin. What a handsome young dude, and probably a nice kid who was living his 17 year old life.

Florida needs some better gun laws and, failing that, a huge drop in tourism. What a scary state.

  7. We had tortellini for dinner. Is that a relative?

PS: Paul Ryan’s plan sucks. What a pooter.

      Sra Dog,
I think any stuffed pasta would qualify. Pot stickers, you name it.

But for me every day is ravioli day. I’m partial to spinach and cheese (ricotta), with red sauce but it’s all good. Never thought I’d like winter squash ravioli, but a little brown butter, sage and parmigiana changed my mind.

  8. Times just called Ill for Romney, damn, LOL

  9. excellent, figure out what the problem was Lee?

  10. Dnd Tebow may not be going to the Jets. Something in his contract that may void the trade.

  11. Poor Dr. D, he was too young.
