10 Years Later

On 19 March 2003 the U.S. and members of the coalition invaded Iraq.  Many are still asking why.    Retribution on Al-Qaeda for the 9/11 attack?  WMD?  Preemptive strike?  Removing a tyrannical despot?  Or was there a hidden agenda (or agendas)?   Was this a success?  A mistake?

I think the Iraq war will go down in history as a mistake by GWB’s administration. Obama will get credit for withdrawing the troupes and ending the way.

Of course the way history books are being written now, facts become irrelevant and fantasy becomes the new reality. The above may never appear.

  4. Mistake. If you need to lie your country into a war…
