Planned Parenthood Shooting

For the second time in a month there was a mass shooting in Colorado Springs.  The shooter at Planned Parenthood mentioned something about “no more baby parts” to the arresting officer.  He was anti-government.  He had given his neighbor an anti-Obama leaflet.  On the edge and easily pushed off.

In his final sermon Officer Garrett Swasey said something eerily prescient:

We are part of a family. Your sin affects me and my sin affects you. Exhortation comes with the territory, it’s part of being part of the family of God.

It doesn’t surprise me that Colorado Springs had another shooting. I said many months ago that this would become “routine.” It has. Good people die. CS is known for being right wing. People who have mental problems and guns will shoot because they are anti government and most anything upsets them. I fear what will happen when refugees come to America. I’m sure there will be even more shootings all over because people don’t agree with the government.

  2. We need to start a database of Evangelical Christians living in this country!

Remember our buddy Trey Gowdy? According to Salon, Gowdy’s new headache: A Benghazi committee whistle-blower sues him for defamation. http://www.salon.com/2015/11/30/gowdys_new_headache_a_benghazi_committee_whistle_blower_sues_him_for_defamation/

Today is World Aids Day. Planned Parenthood in Denver is offering free HIV testing. I hope this doesn’t set off some extremist wacko.

I hope it doesn’t either, but wacko’s come out of the woodwork when there is a “great cause” that helps people. They just don’t get it and feel they’re helping by shooting them.

Ok, since my last post yesterday, there is another shooting occurring in San Bernadino. No details as of 2:00 PM MST. Everyone says we have to do something – what can they do to stop it? We’re worried about ISIS, why? We have our own war in the US with mass shooters. The shooter(s) is still not caught. Where will it happen next? Phx? SLC? Atlanta? Should a kevlar vest be on my Christmas wish list? I’m probably not making sense right now. I’m quite upset about it.

  7. Sadly Bev, you’re making perfect sense, it’s very upsetting.

When I turned on the TV this morning Morning Joe came on. As I was reaching for the remote Scarborough said the Republican revolution started when Ronald Reagan was elected governor in CA because people were fearful from the Watts riots. They were talking about Trumps popularity being due to people are fearful because of all the mass shootings and proliferation of guns. Was he comparing Trump to Reagan? I think Republicans are fearful that Trump will get the nomination.

Then Eugene Robinson said that he’s longtime thought that there would be meaningful gun control legislation when there is a “Black Rifle Association.” Everybody laughed and Robinson said: “No. really!”

I think he’s on to something there.

Interesting, d — I think Eugene has a good idea since the white NRA doesn’t seem to care.

    Time for a new subject.
