  1. Ted Kennedy reemerges in health care debate

His committee is circulating a 12-page “policy overview” on a bill to guarantee universal access to health care, create a public insurance option, and require individuals and employers to buy coverage. Produced by Democrats on the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, which Kennedy chairs, the paper offers the first comprehensive description of where the committee is headed on an overhaul bill.

Good morning all! I hope Obama’s nominee sails through. She should with the majorities the Democrats have in both houses and the fact that she will likely pull in some GOP votes from whatever moderates are still in that party.

  6. I’m reading some of the comments posted about Dr. Tiller’s murder on politico. I have to admit I’m a bit shocked!

What sort of “Church” lets a murdering, late term abortion doctor even become a member? The guy was scum.

What’s frightening to me is that these people claim to be followers of Christ. They clearly do not understand Christ’s teachings at all. Where their hearts should be filled with love, they are consumed with hate.

    Nannymm,
There are those who believe in the tenants of their religion to guide their moral behavior and those who hide behind their religion to excuse their immoral behavior.

But on a lighter note about Christianity, today’s Doonesbury:
