Shoot me, I like the guy. In a time when too members of MSM are willing to lay down and let their shows become a political venue for whomever they happen to be interviewing Chris Matthews is a breath of fresh air. Look I know the guy can suffer with attacks of” hoof in mouth disease”, sometimes with alarming frequency but he understands his job is to go after the truth and won’t allow his show to be used as a tool to further their agenda. Say what you want about the guy at least he won’t tolerate BS.

I wonder when we are going to start giving this problem (which by just about all accounts is on the rise) the serious attention it deserves.

RE: Chris Matthews. I think he’s a good guy. However, a memorable viewing was when he was on The Daily Show. He couldn’t stand up to Jon. Don’t think he understood the concept.
In reality, he drives me nuts because he continually interrupts his guests and won’t let them finish a sentence. He’s not on my watch list anymore. Rachel and Keith rate DVR time.

Good Post! I can’t disagree with what you said about Matthews but he’s also a pain in the ass! I used to watch his show faithfully,but the anti-Clinton drumbeat and his constantly interrupting his guests caused me to stop watching.Give me Rachael and Ed Schultz..
